  • Job Responsibility

    A Physical Education teacher is responsible for planning and leading PE (gym) lessons, getting students to compete in sporting activities, evaluating their performance, and discussing good nutrition and healthy habits.

    • Supervising and implementing PE lessons in an Islamic manner, including both indoor and outdoor classes
    • Ensuring that children compete to their ability level
    • Motivating students to take up new sports or athletic pursuits
    • Evaluating the performance of students throughout the school year
    • Attending parent/teacher conferences and providing parents with comprehensive reports on their child’s progress
    • Training and coaching school sports teams to compete in events
    • Any other duties/responsibilities asked by administration such as lunch/recess duty, arrival/dismissal duty…etc

  • Educational Requirement

    • Holds a bachelor's degree or higher in education.

  • Experience Requirement

    • Preferably have at least one year of experience working with students in a classroom

  • Additional Requirement

    • Muslim and Non-Muslim applicants are welcome.
    • Associates degree or higher from an accredited college preferably in physical education, health and/or fitness.
    • Knowledge of physical exercises, stretching, nutrition and sports
    • First Aid/CPR certified
    • At least one-year experience working with students ages 11 - 15.
    • Knowledge of different rules and regulations for sports, including athletics and team sports
    • Excellent English fluency in verbal and written communication using proper grammar and vocabulary.
