The kindergarten through 5th grade schedule includes, but is not limited to, the following learning experiences:

Our Curriculum:
Eureka Math - K-3rd
Eureka Math connects math to the real world in ways that take the fear out of math and build student confidence—while helping students achieve true understanding lesson by lesson and year after year. This coherent approach allows teachers to know what incoming students already have learned and ensures that students are prepared for what comes next. Eureka Math will dramatically reduce gaps in student learning, instill persistence in problem solving, and prepare students to understand advanced math.
Math In Focus - 4th-9th
Math In Focus is strong in developing conceptual understanding. It also aligns with Ohio Common Core Standards. It has several forms of differentiation where students can work on the same material but at different levels. Manipulatives are used throughout all levels, but they are used on an as needed basis. Math In Focus mirrors the original Singapore Math’s layout with books.
Fundations K-3rd
Wilson Fundations makes learning to read fun while laying the foundation for life-long literacy. Students in grades K-3 receive a systematic program in critical foundational skills, emphasizing: Phonemic awareness, Phonics/word study, High frequency word study, Reading fluency, Vocabulary, Comprehension strategies, Handwriting, and Spelling.
IXL 1st – 5th
“IXL provides students with an active learning experience that fits into any classroom using technology. Adaptive, personalized content keeps students engaged while real-time analytics deliver the insights you need and inspire teaching strategies.” IXL is used in all grades nationwide (Pre-K – 12th Grade).
Wonders Language Arts 4th-5th
Wonders, a comprehensive literacy curriculum, is designed to meet the challenges of today’s classroom and reach all learners. A wealth of research-based print and digital resources provides unmatched support for building strong literacy foundations, accessing complex texts, writing to sources, and building social emotional learning skills. Students use these texts at every turn—to learn, and eventually master, essential reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and vocabulary skills.
Science Fusion KG-5th
Science Fusion is a state-of-the-art science program designed for building inquiry, STEM, and optimized for learning in the classroom, at home, on a laptop, a tablet, or using a science textbook. The digital curriculum, virtual labs and hands-on activities, and write-in science textbook develops important critical-thinking skills that prepare students for success in future science courses and in the workplace.
