About Me

Welcome to Math Intervention! This is where students are expected to persevere, overcome, and succeed beyond their own expectations. Students will learn the importance of math and the skills needed to be successful today, as well as in the future. My ultimate goal is always to turn math haters in to math lovers (or at least appreciators). 

My name is Brandi Barton. I have been teaching at Sunrise Academy since 2012. I graduated from Ohio Dominican University with a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as a Bachelors in Middle Childhood Education with concentrations in math and science. I have a generalist endorsement that allows me to teach Social Studies, as well as Language Arts. I have also completed the courses needed to receive my Reading Endorsement. I am currently taking courses at ODU to earn Intervention Specialist Licensure.
