Mrs. Laila Abubaker
Al-Salam Alaikum Friends and Family. My name is Laila Abubaker and I am the Kg-A teacher at Sunrise Academy. This will be my fifth year at Sunrise Academy. I have been teaching for over 13 years at various levels. I received my Bachelor degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts and teaching license in Early Childhood Education from Ashland University. I have my TESOL endorsement and completed my Masters in Education through Ashland University. I love working with young kids and am honored to be apart of their amazing development. I am a strong advocate for literacy and believe that reading to and with your child can be one of the most beneficial things you can do for them.
