Mrs. Nazmieh Shalash
As-salaam-u-alaykum
My name is Nazmieh Shalash. I am a Quran and Islamic Studies teacher and have been teaching at Sunrise Academy for 15 years. I have an Ijaza (certification) in Nouraniya and Quran as well as other Islamic studies certifications. I speak fluent Arabic and English so this gives me a great opportunity to connect with the students as I teach them Quran and Islam. I look forward to a great year of teaching so the kids can connect and grow spiritually through learning the book of Allah.
