Mrs. Randa Alghanmah
My name is Randa Al-Ghanmah, and this is my sixteenth year at Sunrise Academy. I previously worked as an Arabic intervention teacher for elementary, middle, and high school levels. I also taught Arabic to preschool students for three years. I have taught for one year at First Time Learn Academy in Columbus, and I'm serving as the Principal Assistant and Accountant for the Noor Academy Saturday School at NICC in Dublin, now in my sixteenth year. In addition to my administrative duties, I supervise intervention groups and teach Arabic across all grade levels.
This year, I will teach regular Arabic classes for students in first through fifth grade, as well as 11th-grade high school.
I hold a degree in Computer Science from Kuwait College and have several years of experience as an accountant. My true passion now is teaching and interacting with inspiring young learners. I hold an Ijazah Nooraniah from Jeddah and an Ijazah in Quran recitation from Jordan. I love being part of the Sunrise Academy family and enjoy working with amazing students.
My primary focus and goal will be on reading, writing, and spelling to make them better readers and writers. My goal is to inspire my students to learn Arabic so they can open and recite the Quran fluently.
