About Me
Assalamu Alaikum! My name is Deka Abdulle, and I am excited to join Sunrise Academy this year, Insha'Allah! I will be teaching first grade this year. I recently moved here from North Carolina, and I have taught kindergarten for three years. I graduated from Ashford University with my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Outside of the classroom, I love spending quality time with my family. In my free time, you can usually find me taking my kids to the local library or exploring new coffee shops around town! I am looking forward to an amazing year of growth and learning in Sunrise Insha'Allah!
