We are excited to announce that Sunrise Academy will be taking a field trip to COSI (Center of Science and Industry) on January 17th. This trip will be an amazing opportunity for our students to explore science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in an interactive and educational environment. Students will experience hands-on exhibits that spark curiosity and inspire learning in a fun and engaging way.
Field Trip Details:
- Date of the Field Trip: January 17th
- Time: 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM
- Destination: COSI (Center of Science and Industry)
- Fee: $20 per student
(This fee covers admission to COSI, transportation, and all related expenses.)
Why COSI?
COSI is a world-renowned science museum offering a wide range of interactive exhibits that cover topics like space exploration, human biology, technology, and the environment. This hands-on experience will make STEM subjects come alive for our students and inspire a greater love for learning.
Field Trip Schedule:
- Departure from Sunrise Academy: 9:30 AM
- Return to Sunrise Academy: 2:30 PM
- Kindergarten(KGA) - Mrs Fatima Arrad
Students will be supervised by their classroom teachers, and additional chaperones will accompany the group to ensure safety and enjoyment.
Lunch Arrangements:
- Pack a Lunch: Students should bring a packed lunch for the day. There will be time to eat at COSI, and students will enjoy their lunch together in the designated lunch area at the museum. Please ensure that your child’s lunch is nutritious, filling, and easy to eat. If your child has any dietary restrictions, please pack accordingly.
